Don’t Trash It, Smash It!
Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County, Tioga County Sustainability, and Experience Tioga on Saturday, November 8th from 11am – 2pm for our second annual pumpkin smash event!
What is a Pumpkin Smash?
A Pumpkin Smash is an effort to divert pumpkins from landfills by hosting an event to smash pumpkins after Halloween! This will also be a location for residents to drop-off jack-o-lanterns or whole pumpkins to be composted or donated to livestock. Don’t have a pumpkin to smash? Come to the Pumpkin Smash and smash one of the pumpkins supplied.
We will have pumpkin smashing, games, and light refreshments at this fun fall event!
Free!
