FREE Tioga County Community Winter Resource Fair Thursday, November 6th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. First Presbyterian Union Church, 90 North Avenue, Owego. Hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County, in conjunction with Tioga Opportunities, Inc., and Network for Sustainable Tomorrow (NeST), Cornell Cooperative Extension Smart Energy Choices, and NYSEG.
Local Resources Showcase, with 20+ organizations sharing helpful programs and services, and valuable resources, savings, and support available in the community. Ongoing informational sessions hosted by:
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County sharing information about the importance of energy efficiency, its impact on household energy bills, and available funding for home energy upgrades.
Tioga Opportunities, Inc. will highlight its wide range of programs and services, including Weatherization, which helps homeowners save on home energy costs.
Tioga County Department of Mental Hygiene will share information on addiction and mental health support and resources to help people through the winter season.
FREE produce giveaway from the Food Bank of the Southern Tier! Free admission, light refreshments, giveaways, and free application assistance for local and state programs.
