Exercises in Weed Management for Farmers and Gardeners: Cultivation and Bio-Mulches

Join us at at CCE Tioga’s Hilltop Community Farm for Exercises in Weed Management for Farmers and Gardeners: Cultivation and Bio-Mulches. We will have a demonstration and discussion on various management tools and techniques for keeping unwanted weeds out of your garden or farm using biomulches, hand tools, and tractors. This will be appropriate for farmers and gardeners and free to the public. CCE Tioga's Agriculture Educator Jared Gulliford and Horticulture Educator Jean Koski will discuss the different trials and tribulations experienced while experimenting with the techniques of cultivation at Hilltop Community Farm, and will have live demonstrations of tractors and tools.
