  • Wednesday, September 27, 2023, 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM

Join us for this first-in-a-series Lunch 'n Learn presentation on the basics of securing a conservation easement for your land.  Conservation easements are tool that you may be able to use to preserve your land for future generations, make it easier to transition your land to your next generation of family, and generate income.  Easements are not for everyone, but it may be a perfect fit for you and your property.

Our presenter is Amy Olney, Conservation Projects Manager for Finger Lakes Land Trust.  She will walk us through the basics of conservation easements and how they may be able to benefit you and your property or farm.

Our series will continue for two more weeks--on October 4th we will have Brandy Colebrook of the Agricultural Farmland Trust present on agricultural easements and we will wrap up the series on October 12th with Tim Biello of Farmland for a New Generation who will answer questions you might have about the process.

All of the presentations are tailored to fit your busy life and will run between a half hour to 45 minutes.  So make a nice lunch for yourself and settle in by your computer to learn how easements may help you achieve your goals.
