Parenting is Hard Work!

Managing schedules, balancing work and family, coping with new stages and behaviors…. All of this can be exhausting and challenging. Most parents sincerely want to do their best, but it can be confusing with all of the competing messages out there. And who has time to read every book or website?

We can help! The Family Development Team at CCE Tioga is here to provide you with accurate & current research based parenting information. Parenting workshops are facilitated by credentialed parenting educators.

PS...It Works! 

  • Learn and practice 5 essential parenting skills in  a supportive group setting
  • 8 week series offered 4 times per year
  • Open to all parents and caregivers of children ages 2 to 18

Parenting Through Out of Home Placement

  • Child development and parenting skills from birth to adulthood in monthly group sessions    
  • Coping skills for dealing with separation        
  • Communication skills          
  • Practical skills for preparing for reunification     
  • Research based program developed by CCE Tioga
