A Finance Coordinator

The Finance Coordinator works under the supervision of the Executive Director to manage, implement, and coordinate the financial functions and processes for the Association. The Finance Coordinator will assist with management, monitoring, and preparation of budgets; assist with planning and development of grants/contracts; monitor expenditures and revenues, as well as state and federal appropriations; audit records for compliance with established procedures; ensure financial transactions and cash handling are processed in a timely manner and in compliance with established procedures and participate in Association Board or committee meetings, as appropriate. The Finance Coordinator will perform technical aspects of accounting data entry and functions according to established procedures and policies. The Finance Coordinator will work closely with the North/Central/Nassau Shared Business Network Hub Lead Finance Manager to ensure the financial needs of the Association, SBN and staff are met in a timely and efficient manner. This position is shared between two Associations (Cayuga and Tioga Counties) via contract/agreement. Remote work and/or office space at one or both locations is available.

A 4H Youth Development Educator

This position will serve as the Youth Development Resource Educator for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Tioga County and under the leadership and oversight of the Association Executive Director, the Youth Development Resource Educator will be the lead team member in developing, planning, implementing, managing, and evaluating the 4-H and Workforce Youth Development education programming. Responsible for identifying and assessing educational program needs, developing program goals and objectives, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for youth and adults who work with youth, with a subject focus on science and technology, healthy lifestyles, life skills and workforce preparation, as well as community service and leadership. Work as an Extension Association team member in addressing local, regional, and statewide programming priorities. This position will coordinate assigned administrative aspects of the 4-H Youth Development, Youth Employment, and other youth related programs, including supervision of program staff, grant management and fundraising. The Youth Development Resource Educator will provide guidance, direction and support to program volunteers that assist in the implementation of the 4-H Youth Development program, utilizing existing policies, procedures and best practices. This position will evaluate and analyze the impact of programs using a variety of assessment tools, interpret evaluation data, and utilize that data to help guide future program offerings.
